Most of us have a list of must see places before we die. Whether you are from Warrnambool or Wagga Wagga (Australia) dreaming of Weeki Wachee and Withlacoochee (Florida, USA) the only way to fulfill that travel dream is to take action.

I particularly love the quote by Buber.
Most of my international travel has been on mission trips, and it was in the 'unscripted' moments that I was impacted by the travel, the ministry and people the most.

What a great collection of wisdom! I love collection quotes, too. This one really made me smile and chuckle: “I never travel without my diary. One should always have something sensational to read in the train” –Oscar Wilde
I never heard that one before, but oh so true!

I don't travel with a diary but I do always have a notebook to hand.
Thanks for your post Claudia!

I like the one from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart the most; we have moved overseas four times. I never understood how people could stay in the same place. We are all wired differently, but still....:)

You've got a fabulous collection here Claudia! My favorite is "outside your front door is the hardest part." Nothing has changed my life more than travel & completely embracing the cultures traveled to! It is the most important thing a teen or young adult can do...& what a great way for any one of ANY AGE to keep expanding oneself & their adventure!
