Day 5 of 30 Days Countdown to South America and Around the World
You don’t need to be in first or business class to enjoy a stress-free quiet sanctuary at the airport. An airport VIP lounge is accessible to anyone who wants to catch up on work, have space to relax and read a book or magazine while waiting for the next flight. No crowded and busy departure halls.
Airport lounges are available for a set fee or you can get a discounted fee if you are a member of Priority Pass. For example, if you have a connecting flight in Miami, using Club America F on Concourse F pre-security area or Club America J on Concourse J post-security area is $54 per person.
A Priority Standard Pass membership will get you a discounted rate of $27 per person. Priority Pass is the world's largest independent airport lounge access program with over 600 airport lounges in 300 cities and more than 100 countries. Membership is only available for travelers 18 years and older and some lounges will only grant access to travelers over 21.
If you are a frequent air traveler, it is better to get Prestige Membership where you pay $399 per year and visit all airport lounges in participating airports for free. Find out more here.
