Would it make any difference to business owners or those working in cubicles, schools or hospitals? According to Princess Cruises, three quarters of Americans want to see National Relaxation Day (August 15) as an official U.S. holiday.
How about that?
I was just wondering do we really need a declared national relaxation day to have a relaxation day? Is it possible to just relax and take a day of rest each week or schedule a vacation or staycation at least once a year?
Princess Cruises survey showed that 23% of Americans have never had a relaxing vacation. Of those who had a vacation, it has been an average of three years since they last took a break from their daily grind. The report also found out that 74% who did not schedule relaxation time are suffering from the negative effects of physical and mental health.
The survey clearly expresses that taking a break and having a vacation is essential for our productivity and clarity. It is also essential for our physical, emotional and mental health. In honor of Relaxation Day, I’m featuring two of my clients who are helping others find relaxation:

thanks Claudia. I remember going to Kenya and spending a day on safari. One of the most awesome views of the day was actually before we arrived at the national park where we were touring. From the 'highway' above you could see a lake that appeared to be surrounded by pink flowering plants. It was striking and beautiful. When we arrived beside that lake we discovered that it wasn't plants at all, it was tens of thousands of flamingos. Amazing!
Our day on safari was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

I so agree with you Claudia; we need to live a relaxed lifestyle and not just one day out of so many weeks. I also love my essential oils, but I also know that real relaxation comes from the inside where we can experience that rest that everything is taken care of when e do the right things at the right moment.
