Internet at sea is expensive and slow compared to fast pace Internet at home. We learn to restrict ourselves plugging in and checking on social media, chatting with friends and ‘followers’ and just focusing on relaxation, family time and writing and eBooks for release this Black Friday.
What do you do to unplug or do you unplug at all? The Norwegian cruises have many ways for solo, couple, family and senior travelers to unplug and find time to connect with each other and inner self.
Waking up each morning to a different part of the world brings us different sunrise scenes. These were taken on the first morning on board the Norwegian Sun. To keep ourselves fit, we took a mile walk on the 12th deck of the ship. Seeing the sunrise as we walked in the quiet of the morning without the crowd, music or food in sight was refreshing.
This could be the last cruise for some. We may never pass the same way again. As for now we are neighbors and I will give you a smile and hope you have a great day and healthy body.
If you are reading this post, I’m writing this from the Java Café on the Norwegian Sun with music playing in the background, the ship going towards Cartagena, Colombia on the second day on board the big ship with about 2,000 folks like me from all walks of life, colors, age groups and dreams. This is a place we came to unplug and discover this big world of ours.
Come join me as I travel to the Cartagena, Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten and St. Thomas on the Norwegian Sun.
