At that time, video recorder was quite huge and the digital camera had limited functions unless you had the expensive type. Today, we have the iPhone and the variety of apps that make sharing so instantaneous, varied and most importantly everything is in real time. You can easily post a photo and share real time travel stories on any social media platforms from anywhere in the world.
As of this Saturday, I found another way of sharing travel experiences, that is the 6-second video platform through Vine. I love Vine. Social Media sharing is becoming more and more interesting. On a daily basis, we can share through Facebook Profile, Facebook Fan Page, Twitter, Instagram, Google + (I'm still figuring this one out), LinkedIn and now Vine. I can only imagine the possibility of sharing and promoting a hotel, destination or airline through Vine.

Claudia,
How on earth do you decide what to take? How much, what type...
I know from just 2 week trips abroad that you never really know what you'll need, so I end up bringing cool and warm clothes, and then you get into the problem of trying to carry/shlep it in an out of planes and hotels. Have you found a solution?
Also, where will you guys stay? If you are staying longer in one place, are you renting an apt? I know hotels are expensive, and if not, they may be of questionable safety or cleanliness. Not to be too personal, so I won't delve into the finances of it, but... how did you guys come up with a workable solution?
There must be some 'down time' for you guys to keep up with work, as well as travel, how are you going to work out that balance?
Just pickin' your brain. I think I'll copy this and ask Bethany the same.
Love you guys! We'll miss you!
Blessings,
Loring

Great questions Loring. We are not overpacking. We each have a carry-on backpack and share one suitcase (one suitcase for four people). We do have a solution for packing light 🙂
As for accommodation, we have a combination of apartments, hostels, hotels, eco resort but mostly apartments. About workable solution - we are location independent and can work and write anywhere in the world as long as there is Internet. Some countries we are just passing through (short visits) and as for others we are staying for up to 3 months.

Vine vs Youtube, why Vine?
